I personally have not experienced cancer, nor my family members. However, I have seen many others suffering from cancer. One of my friends received the news in school of her mother passing away due to bone cancer. One of them lost his younger brother because of blood cancer. And the other lost his dad at a very young age due to pancreatic cancer. I am thinking...maybe if there were enough funds, there will be a higher rate of survival for the patients. Lack of money has caused many to delay or abandon treatment. From research, there is a 6% to 13% higher chance of dying because of only one month of delayed treatment. Therefore, I hope to lighten the stress and burden of the families. Malaysia has one of the poorest outcomes for cancer where the death rate was 63% in 2020. I have known many close friends with family members (adults and children) that had cancer, and yet the result was never pleasing. And it’s always because of lack of awareness, lack of treatment and medicine, and not everyone is privileged enough to get those treatments needed.The donations you make will be funded to National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM). They support underprivileged cancer patients by providing accommodations and treatments needed. One thing that we all know that matters most right now is money and funds for the facilities and the staffs. The least that you could do is to help me, help them, help the deprived cancer patients to get a second chance to live a long happy life with their family and loved ones. Remember, you are doing a good thing! <3

Hi, everyone👋. I'm Michelle, one of the volunteers from Here For You Summer 2022 which is under AISEC Taylor's University. The aim of our project is to increase awareness of cancer in public🎗. Recently, we are collaborating with National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) for this fundraising campaign. All the donations will be sent to NCSM to provide financial support to cancer patients for their treatment and improve their quality of life✨. The second greatest cause of death worldwide is cancer. The goal of this campaign is to raise at least RM11,000 to help with cancer fighters' support, care, and education needs. To ensure the longevity of this project to spread awareness about cancer, 70% of the funds will be donated to the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) and 30% to AIESEC Taylor's University.Let's make a change together by donating or simply share this campaign!
