UPDATE: I FINISHED THE WHISTLER HALF MARATHON!!! 

It was the race I never thought of doing. But knowing that I was running for the Kids Cancer Warriors and remembering all your messages of support inspired me to push through! THANK YOU to everyone who encouraged me through all my training and during the run, including the friends who did the training with me, family who cheered for me from the very beginning. My Simplygiving page will be up until June 30, so you can still donate to Kids Cancer Warriors (my chosen charity in my own province in the Philippines) until then! Let's work together to make a BIG difference for those kids! "I'm Jeya Clarito and I'm running my first ever half marathon in Whistler, Canada on June 2, 2018.

I am greatly inspired how the actress Anne Curtis did the 42k marathon in London to fundraise for UNICEF kids. I would like to dedicate my 21k run for the Cancer Warriors (kids) Foundation in Batangas City (my province) and hoping to raise CAD 500. My best friend first introduced me to the foundation back in 2012. Then it became my annual charity work where my friends are helping me to conduct simple events for them (i.e. Easter & Christmas Parties, Jollibee Party or Gift Giving).

Your support will continue to inspire me to do my best because each kilometer will be worth it!
