Personal Challenge

My Story

Human Trafficking is the second largest criminal industry in the world and the fastest growing, according to the US Department of Health and Human Services. With an estimated two million women and children sold into sexual slavery each year, it's a global crisis and that's the reason why I'll be cycling 550km through Vietnam & Cambodia in February. I've already paid HK$4000 for my accommodation and food and also paid for my flights and taking annual leave - so it's not a holiday. If you'd like to donate even just a little bit this season, your change can make a big change to a little three year old girl, rescued from the brothels. The girls, some as young as three years old are sold for as little as US$10, raped, beaten, tortured, sometimes kept in cages with no notion of night or day need your help this Christmas for food, clothes, shelter, support and education. All donations will go towards the Somaly Mam Foundation (www.somaly.org). The girls need your support. THANK YOU. www.facebook.com/CyclingtoStoptheTraffik (Through simplygiving.com you can make safe and secure donations to sponsor me. The proceeds of your support are immediately sent directly to my charity. Using this given platform is really simple and most importantly it's also a really cost efficient way for the charity to raise funds. My page allows you to follow my progress; share it with friends; voice encouragement or even join me and get involved yourself)!
