Personal Challenge

Support our teams as they run to fight modern slavery at this year's "Macquarie Peak24"!

My Story

8 May 2016 - 24 Miles to Confront Slavery

We are running 24 miles as a team to raise funds and awareness for modern slavery.

The funds we raise for the Peak24 will be donated to the 24 Hour Race, a Hong Kong-founded, international youth charity inspiring students in five countries to join the movement to eradicate modern slavery. The money you help raise will directly benefit the expansion of the 24 Hour Race movement.

Since 2010 the movement has engaged over 200,000 young people and raised over HKD 6,500,000 through events. These efforts have helped to stop the trafficking of Nepali children into abusive Indian circuses,  provided new hope for rescued victims in Cambodia, and are currently eroding the business of trafficking children into exploitative orphanages in Nepal.

Runners: Casey Gallagher, Patricia Lao, Lauren Petersen and two guest runners from Free to Run.
