My Story
Since 2017, I have been working with The Samdhana Institute and have been partners with the community of the Dulangan
Unified Ancestral Domain in implementing conservation efforts in their ancestral domain. Part of these efforts
is the reforestation project of the Awang forest. Awang is part of the Dulangan Unified Ancestral Domain. In seven (7) months, the community aims to plant 6,000 trees in the initial target of four (4) hectares of forest
land. For every Php1,000 or 20 USD donation, three (3) trees will be planted in your name or your loved ones’ name. The
trees will be planted and nurtured by our community partners in Awang, Opol, Misamis Oriental – the
Panlablaba Youth Association (PAYO) and Kababaihan sa Panlabpaba (KASAP).
