My Story

Hi guys. 1st of all, I am Sharry, born & raised in Miri! This will be my 1st time of doing this officially for the cause. Intended to join on 2019 for the campaign but due to some unforeseen circumstances, I only get to be back in Miri way later. I managed to be bald on my own, with a reminder of Nek Iko will always be with me, Al-Fatihah. 

And this year I am going to do the same with hope that we get to raise some money for the precious children in need. & I'll be collaborating with a friend that I met from running community, he is a friendly & humble pacer of Adidas Runners Kuala Lumpur, Arthur! Thanks Arthur for willing to do this together!

Before the EMCO took place, we did have this conversation around mid Dec in regards of going bald for this cause by making it as a plan if any marathon / fun race will be happening on the same week either in Kuching or Miri. I checked with GoBald team, apparently they'll made an announcement around September. Well, it's never too early or too late in doing things right? Them little fighters need us to ease their burden, I know this ain't much, but we will try to fundraising as much as we can. It's the thought that count after all, no matter the amount, we really appreciate your generousity. We really do.

We will be doing this sometimes around May 15th, but the donation be open until 31st May 2020. We might be doing live from Instagram or we'll just see how on the day itself, we are doing this all the way from KL ya! Honestly, we are glad & even excited to do this virtually. Such an honor for able to finally do this even from our own home during this trying time for all of us. I am so glad that GoBald has this initiative, thanks for this opportunity.To the dedicated team of SCCS, thank you so much for your hardwork all this time!

*we reached our initial fundraise target of RM1000, & now we double up the fundraise target to 2K! I hope we get to reach this amount by end of May 2020!*
