Dedicated to helping children in need, Save the Children - the world's leading independent children's organization - has been working in Indonesia since 1976. Since 2014, we legally registered in Indonesia as Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik and works as implementator partner for Save the Children International. 

Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik – Save the Children believes every last child deserves a future. In Indonesia and around the world, we give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. We do whatever it takes for children – every day and in time of crisis – transforming their lives and the future we share. 

For almost 40 years, we've been providing long-term support to improve the quality of life for Indonesian children and their families through our education, health, nutrition, child protection and livelihoods programs. Our disaster preparedness and emergency relief programs also teach children to be better prepared in times of disaster and support them when disasters occur.  

Last year, we directly reached and supported 309,323 Indonesian children and their families – helping more children go to school, providing health and nutrition services to more children so they grow up strong, and ensuring vulnerable children are protected. Overall, our indirect reach was over 3.61 million people.
