I have always wanted to do something significant to be able to make a difference in other lives and raise funds to help Calvaryland.   When I came to know about Simplygiving, I'm so thrilled and excited to find an user friendly and yet secure platform that Simplygiving is providing.Through simplygiving.com, you can make safe and secure donations to sponsor me. On 8th September 2012, I will be embarking on a 7-days climb up Mount Kilimanjaro (its height is 5895 metres!) in Tanzania, and I'm aiming to raise money for Calvaryland. The DUNAMIS team fundraising goal of RM100,000 (my personal fundraising goal is that I hope to raise RM50,000) is to help buy one unit of the Nissan Urvan microbus (with a seating capacity of 14). We are also exploring for specially fitted motorized equipment to handle the wheelchairs in and out of the van. This van will be used to transport Calvaryland's residents (e.g. the elderly folks) to the hospital for their medical consultancy and check-ups. The vehicle will also be utilised to transport children to school, for educational trips and outings that facilitate their skills development.
