****************** LATEST UPDATE (18 Sept, Tues) ******************
Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!!!!
Back on me feet now, juz want to say a Big Thank You for ALL your well wishes, appreciate them ALL!!!!!
What more can I say about this TMBT after a gruelling 24hrs 13 mins of pure adversity, ?? Almost everything is TMBT, the organisers, volunteers, scenery, meeting new and present running friends, and seeeing the smiling faces on the local people young n old. This is certainly The Most Beautiful Thing race I've done.
A grateful thanks and appreciation to all those who donated to this cause. And if you'd like to donate via simplygiving.com, it's still not too late. My fundraising page is open to accept donations til 14 Nov 2012.

I'm a optometrist, living in Melaka, operating my own business, helping some vision-impaired folks see better.
I became interested in running for fun some 2 years ago. I then took part in the 2010 StanChart KL Marathon, running the half marathon. While admiring the full-marathoners lining up, I resolved to be part of the pack, one day! A brief 5 months later, and I was there! I ran the full Penang Bridge International Marathon and completed, injury-free, in 4 hours 37 minutes. The bug had caught on, and in a big way!
I moved on to the ultra marathons that can stretch over 100 km. My first ultra of 100km was the 2011 Singapore Sundown that I completed in 17 hours 10 minutes. It was the beginning of a whole new ball game. Reading running blogs and hanging out with other runners have been keeping this 'ultra' passion fueled!
My dream? To qualify for the Ultratrail du Mont Blanc (UTMB). With this in mind, I've been running ultras to try to make the points to qualify. To date, I've run in the 2012 HK100 Vibrams Ultra Marathon.
My next run would be in "The Most Beautiful Thing (TMBT) Sabah Ultra Marathon 2012". This 100km race will be held on 15 September (Sat), over the beautiful Crocker Range of the Kinabalu Highlands. Besides running in this race as a personal challenge, I want to run to raise funds for a cause I believe in.
As I run in TMBT Sabah Ultra Marathon, I'm also targeting to raise RM3000 for Calvaryland - a non-profit integrated social care centre that reaches out to help the needy and the marginsalized in our community.
Your kind contribution is greatly appreciated. Please dig deep and donate...every little contribution counts. You can make a difference in many lives...Thanks heaps!
