Peak to Fong is HKDR’s biggest annual fundraising event which traditionally takes place every year during November. 100% of funds raised during this unforgettable day go towards Hong Kong Dog Rescue’s operating costs, including much needed veterinary care, purchase of dog food, dog beds and kennel supplies. 

Sunday 23rd November 2014 is the date for this year’s Peak to Fong Sponsored Walk, an event that has become a must for all self-respecting dog owners and dog lovers alike. What started all those years ago as a small gathering for those in the know, Peak to Fong has grown into the biggest dog party in town, with each event surpassing the last, and vintage P2F T-shirts becoming collectable and coveted items. 

An important part of Peak to Fong is the Sponsored Walk in which we ask all participants to find friends, neighbours, work colleagues and total strangers to pledge any amount, and to sign the Sponsorship Form. We have fantastic prizes for those who raise the most money, and for runners-up too. We hope that everyone will join in and help us to make this a record-breaking event in terms of funds raised through sponsorship.

We promise that Peak to Fong 2014 will be a day to remember for all the family, and dogs included of course! This year our target is once again $1 million, money which will go towards the upkeep of our huge Tai Po Homing Centre which is home to hundreds of rescued dogs, as well as our smaller Centre at Ap Lei Chau and, of course, saving more lives.
