About Event

CBRE has recently established CBRE COVID-19 Relief Fund to aid the COVID-19 response and recovery efforts around the world. This would be the company’s largest fundraising campaign ever, aiming at raising USD$15 million, with USD$5 million will be donated from CBRE Foundation, and up to an additional USD$5 million from the Company to match employee contributions, dollar-for-dollar.

CBRE Malaysia is responding to this call to action by fundraising for The Lost Food Project.

About our Beneficiary

The Lost Food Project (TLFP) is a Malaysian not-for-profit organisation dedicated to a sustainable future by rescuing ‘lost’ food and finding it a new home with people who need it most. TLFP prevents quality, nutritious food and other surplus goods from going to landfill, and redistributes this food and other essential items to those in need – regardless of religion, gender, age, disability or ethnic group. TLFP supports 56 charities (approximately 6000 pax) and 2 PPR programmes (reaching approximately 33,000 pax).

With funds raised during this appeal, TLFP will continue to purchase food hampers for their charities and PPR residents in need.

CHARITY HAMPERS @RM700 P/HAMPER FOR 30PAX FOR 30 DAYS

Currently, TLFP has adjusted its usual collections and deliveries to an emergency plan of action to ensure all our charities receive the food they need. They have ranked charities in order of need ensuring we reach those most in need of food first.

PPR MINI HAMPERS @RM100 P/HAMPER P/FAMILY OF ESSENTIAL ITEMS
For the PPR residents TLFP will procure mini hampers of essential food items to the value of Rm80-RM100 p/hamper for individual families.  These are families who have been identified by the respective resident's association as being vulnerable and most in need.  Many of these B40 families are daily wage earners. The MCO has impacted their earnings heavily with many not having enough funds to buy food for their families.
