Thomsons Singapore is fundraising for Singapore Children's Society

We did it!!!

My Story

Following in the footsteps of our UK and Romania colleagues, the Singapore constituent of Thomsons Online Benefits has accepted their challenge!!! 11 Thomsons people (and three very brave companions) from the Singapore office have been persuaded to climb Mount Ophir in Gunung Ledang National Park in Malaysia. Now for the training! But how do you train for such a huge challenge? I mean, with tales of men perishing on the mount whilst trying to win the heart of an evil (yet apparently very hot!!) princess, stories of "things" without shadows going bump in the night and our very own Matthew Chan regaling childhood horror stories from when he attempted this very same peak. Is there anything we can really do to ensure we're suitably prepared and safe? The highest point in Singapore reaches a mere 163.63m above sea level and this is haunted by nothing more than a few greedy long tailed macaques. It seems we are lacking resources to prepare for such a challenge. But we will try!!! After all, it's all in the name of charity!!! And that's where we need your help! Please please PLEASE help the Thomsons Singapore team; Angela Yan, Derek Wong, Francis Ng, Gowri Kumar, Lee Goldsmith, Matthew Chan, Martin Baker, Ong Lian Jie, Sergei Scott, Teng Yan Wen & Rosalin Pang, raise $2,000 for the Singapore Children Society! What's more is that Thomsons will match up to $500 per employee taking part of any sponsorship we raise!! Joining the Thomsons Team we also have Delhi Coquet, Mikey Britton & Kumar S. In return we will kindly provide you with regular updates of our training and funny photos of the Sergei trying to beat his vertigo. Thank you. Please.
