My Story

Hi, thank you for visiting my personal fundraising page.

 On 25th January I am going to be pushing myself to the limit and running the Hong Kong 10K. This is going to be my first run since having my two kids and it will be a real challenge for me! A big motivation for my run is I’d like to support the work of Viva. As a mother of two I see how precious children are, but also how vulnerable they can be. I really want to take this opportunity to do a little something to help those children in need. I really like the approach Viva takes with helping vulnerable children as it seeks to inspire lasting change in their lives through the power of collective action. By encouraging and forming networks of churches and community organizations already involved with helping the children, Viva’s reach goes further and is more sustainable in bringing real, lasting change to situations of these children.  I am trying to raise an ambitious target of 10,000 HKD for vulnerable children, and together with a team of over 50 other Viva runners, we are trying to raise half a million HKD.
