Hi there, I'm running the Angkor Wat Half Marathon on December 7th ... yep, that's 21k. It's my first half marathon and so far I've trained up to 11k. That's more than halfway but still a way to go... To help get me to the finish line in the harsh Cambodian heat, I thought a little extra motivation might help! Hi Friends, thanks for visiting my 40th Birthday fundraising page. As many of you have said over the years, I am apparently hard to buy a gift for... I don't think so, but for someone who doesn't need anything else in life, apart from a Masserati, and a few other things, I thought I should make my 40th Birthday giving easy! Sunrise Childrens Orphanage in Cambodia is a fantastic charity set up by an amazing group of people in Australia to support and protect the children of this amazing country. Many of the children are casualties of landmines and therefore their chances of adoption or living a normal life are vastly diminished. It is only through generous donations that this charity can survive and continue the good work in education, skills training and reading and writing that can give these amazingly resilient children the help in life that they truly deserve.
