Hi, we are Edmond, Cindy and Hani. We adopt Donut and Bingo from Hong Kong Dog Rescue. Thanks HKDR for saving thousands of dogs every year, Donut and Bingo were 2 of them. They are our loving babies and we are so lucky having them in our family, they bring us a lot of joy and laughter. They also teach us that all of us have power to change one's life, only if you are willing to!

I have been volunteering at Hong Kong Dog Rescue for a year now, and have met all the wonderful dogs there who deserve to have a loving home of their own. Before that happens we do our best to give them the best care possible, and providing them with food, shelter, and lots of love! To continue to do that, we need your help! On November 15, 2015, I will join with other volunteers and dog lovers in a sponsored walk from Victoria Peak to Lan Kwai Fong. This is our biggest annual fundraising event, and 100% of funds raised will be donated to HKDR and be used to help with veterinary care costs and buying dog food, dog beds, and other kennel supplies. Please support me in this walk so that we can help find forever homes for all the dogs still waiting. Thank you so much!Official event website: http://www.hongkongdogrescue.com/events-news/p2f2015/

We need your donation to save more dogs!! On Nov 15, Poosident candidate Dumbo Chump will walk from mid Level to LKF with his siblings and his assistant to raise fund for HKDR. Please dip deeper this time as his assistant is still limping. This will be quite challenging as she has to carry Grenache the blind senior with her as well. Please sponsor the Poosident & his staff. Campaign slogan “Dumbo - your richest & bestest leader” Why donate? Read below - The future US Poosident Dumbo Chump has 2 siblings. 3yo Pinot & 13yo Grenache, both ex-HKDR dogs. Dumbo loves Pinot and Grenache very much so he decided to run for President to help K9 Nation, and beat China again, again & again. If he becomes the Poosident, he’ll eliminate dog trade. He’ll solve lazy dogs’ unemployment problems too. He wants you! He is SMART and he’ll make billions and billions of dollars dealing with other nations’ leaders and greedy corporations. All money goes to HKDR cos he doesn’t need any. He is so filthy rich and therefore bribery or corruption will serve no purpose. Sponsor him. Show the nation that you aren’t as stupid as those running the office now. Plus, he won’t steal your lady cos he doesn’t need to. He has been with all the beautiful ones before you even know them. Your marriage will last forever because of him. On top of that, he hires local rather than importing low cost labor. While your helpers are from Asia, his helper is from Fran Sancisco. Dumbo Chump. Your richest and Bestest Leader! While Obama wants “CHANGE”, Dumbo Chump wants you to “Spare some CHANGE”.

Toffee and Baileys are back again this year to attend this fun and meaningful event to help raise money and awareness about dogs and especially about the good work which Hong Kong Dog Rescue has been doing for many years in Hong Kong.  Toffee and Baileys took up this challenge on 2013 and completed the walk from the Peak all the way to Lan Kwai Fong Central.  We couldn't make it last year but we are back this year to take on this challenge once again and help raise some funding for the much needed doggies with Hong Kong Dog Rescue.Website detail of this event: http://www.hongkongdogrescue.com/events-news/p2f2015/

I occasionally volunteer at the Ap Lei Chau Homing Centre and last year, in 2014, I volunteered at the HKDR Peak to Fong walk as a sign bearer giving directions to walkers on the way down from the peak. I had loads of fun and it was for a good cause. This year, I wanted to participate again but I thought I should contribute on a larger scale this time around and get sponsored to do the walk so that I can help raise more money for those less fortunate dogs.I don't have any fundraising target because I believe there is never an upper limit for donations and the amount of care you can show for the less fortunate. I hope you can join me in giving back to society by attending this walk. If you are unable to attend, feel free to sponsor me or anyone else for his/her walk, or donate directly to HKDR!

Hi - my name is Dim Sum. I'm a dog. Hong Kong has been a fabulous place for me to grow up in. My human takes good care of me - though she gives me the same old boring doggy food everyday - but she's fun throwing me a tennis ball to chase everyday. Every single day. All the time. I think her arm hurts some times.More seriously - I've been lucky to grow up in a community that loves me. I hang out at Odd One Out helping sell art every day, then try to get the customers at SFS cafe to give me treats. Every single shop owner on Star Street knows me (I've snuck into each one of thier shops). The guys at Bubbles let me play in their shop and I get to play with the dogs they are grooming.I want to give all the other dogs at Hong Kong Dog Rescue the same great life I have. So I'm asking all humans to contribute to help me reach my goal.In return, I'm offering free doggy kisses :)

Gaston was living on the streets of Hong Kong three years ago. Who knows how long he was left to survive on his own. He was caught by the dog catchers and sent to AFCD to be put down. Luckily he was rescued by HKDR and he now lives the life of luxury with me. A real rags to riches tail ! He is still grumpy but he is the cutest dog in the world! Gaston  will fund raise for HKDR so that they can help other dogs like him find homes and be safe so this year he will join Peak to Fong again !
