Remote Year communities believe in leaving a positive impact in every host city we live. We do this through volunteer and fundraising efforts with trusted partner relationships. In Kuala Lumper, it's the Pit Stop Community Cafe. We have a goal to raise 3,500 MRY (~ $830 USD) to sponsor an evening meal of 200 portions that we'll help serve!Please help the Pit Stop Community Cafe in their efforts to reach out to and assist marginalized communities through food and services with the ultimate aim of reintegration into society. (Even better if you Nominate your friends to do the same!)It's that simple to make a difference together, for good!All funds raised will go towards Pit Stop Community Cafe's Dinner Service.The Pit Stop Dinner Service runs six days a week, serving anywhere from 150 to 250 people and providing up to 400 portions of food daily. Monthly, we average 4,500 people and 6,500 portions of food served. To date, from January 1 to August 31, 2017, our volunteers have served 32,576 people and 52,541 portions of food. Each dinner service costs a total of RM1,700 per day.
