Why Donate?

We have started this fundraising campaign in order to provide Financial aid for Chow kit’s households and children in the event of an emergency, based on their requirements like documentation, health services and any other necessities.

Yayasan Chow Kit is a place where children who are in need or marginalised can take refuge in order to grow up in a safe environment. Through this fundraising campaign, we hope to help Yayasan Chow Kit to continue to support the children who are in need. Yayasan Chow Kit offers a variety of services to these kids as they grow up. Some of these services include helping the children apply for school, providing a shelter for the children, birth certificate application and many more services in order to make sure the children in their care will be able to grow up in a nurturing environment which will help further develop their personalities so that they can become successful individuals in the future.

Due to these challenging times we have set a goal that may not seem like much, however, it is a time like this that makes it an emergency for a lot of Chow Kit’s households, so the smallest donation can make the biggest difference so we are hoping to support them to the best of our ability.

Yayasan Chow Kit’s Impact

The work done by Yayasan Chow Kit has improved the lives of many children and families in Chow Kit. One of which would be a family consisting of only a Mother and a child. They were in a tough spot with money so a social worker from Yayasan Chow Kit helped them to be able to get financial assistance. This has drastically improved their lives.

We hope to help Yayasan Chow kit save and drastically improve the lives of many more children, and we can only do so through the contribution of our community.

About Us

We are team Empower, a group of 6 students representing Taylor’s University. We are aiming to help our community through fundraising in collaboration with the Yayasan Chow Kit organization to be able to save and support the lives of those who are in need in Chow Kit.
