My Story

Hi everyone! I'm Hazel, a member of AIESEC in Taylor's University. I've made up my mind to raise funds for the project Here For You with the intention to raise awareness on cancer. 

What is the the 'Here For You' project in AIESEC?

AIESEC is a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential. It is a non-political, independent, not-for-profit international organization run by youths and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership, and management. Moreover, AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion or national/social origin. There are currently 16 branches across Malaysia and Taylor's University is one of them.

The Here For You project is an initiative by AIESEC Taylor's University to promote health by raising the awareness about cancer, the importance of early detection and the treatment involved in cancer by debunking the myth and perception. The project hope to assist others to widen their knowledge on early prevention and detection which are important initiatives to decline the death rates among cancer patients and increase the survival rates for affected individuals.
