Corporate Team

WALK & TALK - ONE FOOT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER. Aaron is taking on the huge challenge of walking around the whole of Hong Kong in just 7 days to raise awareness and bring much needed attention to mental health. Each day Aaron walks, he will invite mental health experts along the way so that people have an opportunity to tune in live and ask questions to experts that they wouldn’t normally have access to. Our main aim is to use this platform to point people in the right direction when it comes to finding support for their Mental Health. At the same time, we will be raising money for MIND HK and Mental Health Foundation HK that will be providing support for under privileged Hong Kong people who can’t afford the appropriate help.

My Story

WALK & TALK
Aaron will be walking around the whole of Hong Kong in just 7 days, to raise much needed awareness around Mental Health. Each day we walk, will feature a different theme around Mental Health that is prevalent in Hong Kong. He will be live streaming with different experts along the way so that people have an opportunity to tune in live and ask questions to experts that they wouldn’t normally have access to.

Our main aim is to use this platform to point people in the right direction when it comes to finding support for their Mental Health. At the same time, we will be raising money for two of our chosen charities - MIND HK and Mental Health Foundation HK, that will be providing support for under privileged Hong Kong people who can’t afford the appropriate help.

SO WHETHER YOU CAN JOIN AARON ON THE WALKS OR NOT, WE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO BE OUT THERE WALKING AND TALKING.

WHY DO WE NEED WALK & TALK?

Mental health is a serious issue that affects us all in one way or another. Of course we all have different experiences but one thing is for certain: no one wants to suffer alone.Talking Mental’s Walk & Talk initiative gets people out and about in the company of others. It provides a safe, informal environment for participants to ask experts the questions they need answers to.This is very much a community project, open to everyone at a time when silence and isolation is no longer the answer.

TALKING OPENLY IS THE KEY TO RECOVERY. SO LET’S GET WALKING…

WHO WILL BE THERE?
Open to members of the public, this is a free event open to all local residents. With both local Hong Kong Chinese and expatriate mental health experts in attendance, there’s something for everyone.Combining the knowledge of psychiatrists, psychologists, nutritionists, school councillors, sleep therapists, CBT specialists and more, participants can ask questions, listen in and find out the best course of action for themselves and the people they care most about.
