Tulasi is fundraising for Refuge For The Refugees

Hello! As I am turning 20 this year in May, I wish to do something meaningful through raising money for Refuge for the Refugees, an organization supporting B40 families, migrants and refugees with food aid. The goal is to raise RM1000 (and hopefully more if its possible). I hope we could accomplish this together by the end of May!! Thank you so much and please do share this around :)

My Story

Growing up, I've always been surrounded by people that I deeply care about, family and friends who have always showered me with lots of love through their wishes and presents on my birthdays which I am immensely grateful for. However, this year it would be great if we could all chip in together to channel our support towards the refugee and migrant communities in Malaysia who are one of the most vulnerable groups of people, especially throughout this pandemic. 

Things are pretty tough for everyone right now so let's do what we can to make a small difference by extending a little help to those who need it. Your contribution would directly go to Refuge For The Refugees who are currently looking to raise RM200,000 to support a total of 3500 families with food aid for the next 6 months. A donation of RM60 is enough to feed a family for two weeks. 

Nobody should have to starve during this pandemic. 

Refuge For The Refugees is a non-profit organization that seeks to raise awareness regarding the plight of refugees in Malaysia as well as provide education for refugee children. With the kind support of donors, volunteers and strategic partners like Malaysian Red Crescent Society, IMPACT Malaysia and BMW Malaysia, they have been able to provide support to 29390 beneficiaries across 461 locations.
