My Story

The recent and ongoing refugee crisis (and those haunting pictures online) are constant reminders to us on how lucky and blessed we are to live in a safe and free country. So instead of receiving gifts for my birthday, I'd like to channel the resources you'd otherwise use to donate to this worthwhile cause. Help me put 18 and possibly more young refugee children take their first steps in formal education, hopefully changing their lives forever. USD750 will pay for their educational resources for a year - including stationary, books an online learning tools. 

Note: Refugee children do not have a status in Malaysia. They don't have passports, identity cards, access to welfare or education. They rely entirely on charity to get by. By helping these kids go to school, you're potentially changing the lives of these children, and their children's children! After just 7 years of operations, Fugee School has successfully taught life skills to hundreds of refugee children with two of them even being admitted into a private University in Malaysia!
