Ria Atayde is fundraising for Save the Children Philippines

As I turn 29, please help me achieve my birthday fundraising goal so we can provide at least 29 children with back-to-school kits and 29 families with family hygiene kits.

My Story

As I celebrate my 29th birthday, I wish that more people would realize how important it is to reach out to children in need. Please help me achieve my birthday fundraising goal so we can provide at least 29 children with back-to-school kits and 29 families with family hygiene kits. A donation of Php 1,400 provides a child with a school bag that contains learning materials they can use at home or in school when face-to-face classes resume while a donation of Php 1,500 provides a family with a hygiene kit that is crucial in staying healthy especially during the pandemic or in emergency situations. Any amount you can donate will greatly help and will be pooled together to help these kids and their families.

I recently joined Save the Children’s humanitarian team in Catanduanes and being an ambassador aside, I was really impressed with the work the organization does to help children, families, and communities in downtrodden areas. One of my key takeaways from this visit is the importance of solidarity and working together to rise up from challenges – and for my birthday this year, I wish we can do that for children. I’m appealing to all of you who can help to please donate so we can prioritize the needs of children in this time of great need.
