Hi everyone. I am John from Sarawak.

From knowing little about education to completing a Research-based Master's, I realised that education is for everyone regardless of their social status. Despite financial difficulties, I beefed up my courage - walking from door to door, ringing the bells, to express my research interests and fundraising goals to every household and company, together with my family. At the end of my 9-month fundraising journey, I learned that perseverance was the key - I was notified by one of the sponsors that I was awarded a fully-funded scholarship to pursue my dream! The moment I saw tears rolling down my mom's cheek, I finally understood that we never walked alone in the journey. 

After being sponsored to pursue my studies, I embarked on the journey of contributing back to society, and raising educational funds for children is a part of the journey.
