Yayasan Kemanusiaan Ibu Pertiwi (YKIP) is a non-profit organization focused on the education of disadvantaged children in Bali. We aim to improve the lives of these children by providing support that helps them complete their 12 years of education. Initially formed to assist the Bali bombing victims in 2002, YKIP has expanded its programs and working areas in Bali. One of the YKIP programs is KEMBALI Scholarship Program.
Through the KEMBALI Scholarship Program, YKIP is currently supporting 426 children in the 13 areas around Bali. Currently, our program areas are in Denpasar, Kuta, Mengwi, Tejakula, Pengotan, Karangasem, Gianyar, Tampaksiring, Sukawati, Blahbatuh, Payangan, Ubud, and Tegallalang. We provide our KEMBALI sponsored students with school supplies (including bag, shoes, and uniforms), vitamins, transport allowance, book allowance, enrollment fee and school fees on a quarterly basis.
We believe that through education, we can give these children a brighter future that helps break the poverty cycle. Therefore, through the Simply Giving platform, we hope to raise funds to help these children graduate from high school and pursue their future career. And we are unable to do this humanitarian mission alone. We need your help!
Join our mission and see how your support can make changes to the children’s world. For more information about our education programs, please visit our website at: www.ykip.org
