Having the longest history of its kind in Malaysia, Perak Association
For Intellectually Disabled (PAFID) is a voluntary, non-profit ,charitable
organization set up to cater for the educational needs, vocational training
and rehabilitation of the people with learning disabilities in the State of
Perak.
Our main
objective is to enable the less fortunate to live a meaningful live by securing for them care, treatment, education, training and to encourage their development to their fullest potential.
Currently, PAFID owns and manages a
Special Needs Child Care Centre, 5 schools
and 3 workshops as well as a
Sheltered factory to service the individuals with learning disability.
