We made a trip from 3 to 4th July to Kampung Sungai Magandai after hearing of a fire that burnt Masnih’s house, alongside 5 neighbouring houses, but also to follow up with the progress of socio economic activities within the village. Donations in kind like food, kitchen, household items and clothing were handed over to Masnih and the other affected families.

After discussion with the head of village Jabal, he recommended a collection of funds to purchase building materials for the families who need their homes rebuilt. We think it would be the best solution to use the cash donated this way & will coordinate with the head of village on this.
