Green Umbrella

Green Umbrella (GU) is a Local Non – Governmental Organization and was established in 2012. Green Umbrella is based in Pursor Commune, Takeo province, Cambodia. More than 35% of the families living in this rural area are below the poverty line, of a total of 2,750 households. 


Green Umbrella started from the ground level to create hope for the future of Cambodian children and their families. Our mission is to provide a holistic and transformational education for Cambodian youth in our community.

Green Umbrella also drives health programs including wellness awareness, nutrition aid, and construction of a new much-needed Health Clinic. We are determined to build a strong and close community providing a good quality of life and equal opportunities to all.
