Geotourism Indonesia is an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime free technical training program for Indonesian youth supported by sponsors like you. Our Village MapGuides program is our local version of "Girls Who Code", enabling young women across the country to continue their education and do amazing works in a collaborative, supportive team environment.

Trainees in the program create tours of the nature and culture for their local village. In the process participants learn to use and even build mobile applications! You can see the work they are doing by visiting the Village MapGuides mobile app, available in Google Play. Participants gain technical skills, work experience and confidence as they work together to serve their local communities. Graduates have new skills they can use to gain employment, continue to higher education, and start their own business.
