Dear Friends,

I received an appeal from the SLENG Village Government Primary School in Kampong Thom Province, Cambodia, to build them two new toilets.

There are just over 100 children in this school. Presently they only have one functioning toilet as the other one is clogged up. Their existing toilet structure is also in a bad state, with visible cracks.

We hope to raise the funds of US$1,500 as soon as possible so that we can proceed to build the new toilets right away.

Having safe, hygienic and adequate toilet facilities has far-reaching benefits for these children. It will prevent the spread of diseases, encourage good toilet habits, and generally allow the children to stay in school longer and stay healthy.

Thank you for your generosity.
