Selangor Cheshire Home And Services

Rumah Amal Cheshire Selangor (RACS) or Selangor Cheshire Home was set up in December 1963.

In 1961, Toh Puan Sadiah Sardon (the founding President), together with Mrs.Collin, Colonel Nigel Watson, Mr Potter, Mr & Mrs Marjoribanks and Mr & Mrs B.E. Wilkinson acquired 3 acres land for RM4,000.00 from the Selangor State Government.

Selangor Cheshire Home is a member of Leonard Cheshire International which was established in 1955 and today covers 255 Homes in 54 countries worldwide.

The mission of Selangor Cheshire Home and Sevices are to provide :
- Residential Care
-Provide rehabilitation and training 
-Creating awareness and Advocating for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
-To promote supported /independent living for residents within the community 
-To promote community development programs.
-To promote Sports and Recreation Programmes.
-Raise Funds
-To provide economic Empowerment training towards employment
