Edith has been an amazing part of our family and household for the last couple of years. She is an amazing energy and a great person and our son is best mate. Sadly last year doctors discovered an 8 cm cancerous tumour in her cervix. We have supported Edith and her family during this difficult period and she has undertaken chemotherapy and radiation therapy which has had some positive effect in that it has shrunk the tumour but it is still there and cancerous.

We have been advised that the only option left is a radical pelvic exenteration which will be quiet life changing for Edith but it presents the only option with some probability of success. We currently have Edith’s daughter with us so they can spend some quality time together. They have made a decision they would like to do this surgery back in the Philippines and we have committed to trying to support them and trying to solve the funding required for it through our amazing friends family and community.
