The Issues

The Aborigines (Orang Asli) community are living in impaired houses with no electricity and clean water. The existing generator (EGY 1200) can only afford electricity for the fan and light to a single home with a limited timeframe (7 pm-11 pm). So, it is not sufficient to supply electricity for 24 houses in the village. Besides, there is no proper water supply in this village. They are highly dependent on the murky river water which is 4 km from the settlement.

Absence of Electricity

• Living in the dark every night

• No study time for children during the night

• No access to the internet, technology and tools

• Food Source can’t be store for more than a day

Absence of Clean Water

• No clean drinking water

• No proper sanitation and personal hygiene

• Prone to water-borne illnesses

Our Big Goal
Based on the situation that they are facing, there is an urgent need to assist this community. We want to provide a 160 Kva generator and the necessary infrastructure that supplies the electricity throughout the 24 houses in the village and clean water by re-establishing new piping along with a water filtration system. So we aim to raise funds for this community and 100% of the funds raised will be channeled to establish the utility infrastructure which is electricity and clean water for this community in Lubuk Chupak Village, sub-district of Lenggong, in the state of Perak, Malaysia.

Our Target
Our target is to raise RM 150,000 (USD 37,000) by 30th September 2021.
