The Asian Medical Student Association- IMU is collaborating with IDEAS Academy, a non-profit educational institution that provides secondary education for underprivileged refugee students regardless of their background race or ethnicity. IDEAS Academy runs solely on the generosity of donors like you to impart knowledge to struggling students. In this joint campaign, the Asian Medical Student Association aims to raise sufficient funds to purchase at least 300 Science and Mathematics textbooks for the students of IDEAS Academy.

Currently, hundreds of children at IDEAS Academy are relying on electronic textbooks on their small-screen gadgets, straining their eyes only to read a few words on a daily basis. There are even textbooks which cannot be found online. To ease their learning process, physical textbooks would better suit the children, taking into consideration their optical health and a better learning experience. 

Help us to help them in their pursuit for education! Let's prove that humanity can overcome barriers of discrimination that hinder basic education, simply because of where one comes from, especially for children. "Everyone has the right to education" - Article 26, as instigated by the United Nations.
