Soroptimist International Club of Damansara (SID) is part of Soroptimist International, a worldwide voluntary service organisation for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world. As part of the Federation of the South West Pacific, SID established in 1993 is one of 3000 clubs across 123 countries and territories with more than 82,000 members globally.
SID's focus is on education and we have launched and implemented several projects to educate, enable and empower underprivileged children, youth and women in our community. Now, SID would like to go beyond our shores to help rural women in Cambodia and will be working with Soroptimist clubs in Phnom Penh, Singapore and Melbourne on this project.
