No Shave for Cancer is fundraising for 365 Cancer Prevention Society
There is nothing more manly than doing good.
My Story
Every November, many take part in the glorious
occasion of the No-Shave-November, where men have a reason to
not shave their facial hair and let it out. The origin of No-Shave November,
however, was not merely a testosterone-fuelled movement to showcase the
manliness of the beard, but a means of raising awareness for cancer.
The reason for not shaving is to embrace hair, which many cancer patients lack due to the intensive treatment that they have to undergo. Also, the money spent into grooming and maintaining a clean-shaven face can be donated towards the fight against cancer.
The 365 Cancer Prevention Society takes on a very different approach towards preventing and fighting cancer. Their vision is as follows:
"Be a society serving the community to prevent and fight cancer through holistic health with loving care and a passion for life."
They believe in a holistic approach in bringing joy and happiness into the lives of those fighting cancer, in the belief that a positive mindset will be integral in fighting against the spread of the virus.
So go on and be that change in the lives of the others.
Your donation will certainly transform the lives of many individuals fighting cancer everyday.
