My Story
Hi!
One of the most tragic situations a woman or a mother can be put through in her lifetime is to be homeless, helpless and powerless. When a woman's basic human right is robbed from her and she is subjected to physical abuse or worse still, mental abuse; that leaves no mark, yet lasts a lifetime.
I believe it is my duty and perhaps you will feel it is also yours, to uplift, inspire and help care for those who need mending. Women's Aid Organisation (WAO) is raising funds to refurbish safe homes that have been hidden and designated for women and children who need protection, shelter, and comfort. With a growing number of over 300 occupants that include women and children, WAO needs to expand and refurbish to accommodate and help more women and children in need. Your donations will be used to buy the basics, beds, cupboards, mattresses and more.
