My Story

Hello! 

As you know, Christmas is around the corner which also means it's my birthday! BUT this year I wanted to do something different. Something special. Instead of buying presents or cakes or flowers for me, I would like you to donate to a charity home instead. The charity home that I've chosen is called Lotus Charity Care Centre. 

Lotus Charity Care Centre is multi-ethics HOME providing assistance to the old folks and poor children who have nobody to depend on at this moment of time. Some of these old folks and poor children have been abandoned by their families and even rejected by society so they are sheltered here. Lotus Charity Care Centre provides them a decent place of stay where they feed, clothed and care for them. They also provide FOOD and GOOD EDUCATION for the poor children and also take them to tuition and give entertainment programs for the children and also the old folks.

Their total monthly expenses is about RM 33,400 (and broken down as follows):
Food (for 25 elderly and 26 children) RM 9,000
Rental of 2 houses RM 4,000
Staff (9 caretakers) RM 11,200
Utilities (water, electricity, phone) RM 1,100
Transportation and Fuel RM 3,700
Education expenses RM 1,200
Other necessities RM 3,200
