My Story

Dear family and friends,

As one of the Famine Advocates of World Vision Malaysia, I'm taking part in a fundraiser.

I just came back from an eye-opening trip to India and witnessed how World Vision works tirelessly with children and families to overcome extreme poverty and injustice. World Vision works to promote human transformation, and serve all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.

Safety is my first concern when I know that I’m going to India. The staffs from World Vision successfully ensure our safety when we were arranged to stay at a residential house in the village.

Numbul is my hosting family. Upon arrival, Numbul asked us if we want to take bath. We said yes. Her house did not have water heater thus she boiled hot water for us. I showered with full of love and care. The interaction between the family members and the staffs from World Vision made me feel that they are full of love. It doesn’t matter how big the house is, it’s how happy the family is!

The staffs from World Vision are serving the community as though they are their siblings. This is how the trust is created. We are GLOBAL CITIZEN! Together we can promote peace, freedom & equality.
