My Story

Abdi is a 2 year old Somalian boy who is in need of a liver transplant and needs urgent attention. He also has another younger sister who is 1 month old, and his parents are in need of support for his surgery. 

I first met Abdi through his dad, as he was looking to be a chef with PichaEats to support his family. Abdi's mother is currently looking after him and his sister at home.

Currently, he is only depending on monthly medication and his condition restricts him from breathing normally. The doctor only gives Abdi months to live without the transplant. This surgery will save his life and give him a second chance to grow up.

Dr Hartini Zainudin and Syed Azmi are also currently working on this case right now and we would appreciate all the help and support we can get.
