My Story

In celebrating 30 years of being alive, blessed and happy this year, on 18 October 2019 I will hike 30kms overnight at Mui Wo, Lantau Island to raise funds for a good cause. The route will cover Lantau Peak, which at 934m and with some of the steepest terrain in Hong Kong, may be the toughest section of all Hong Kong hikes. I hope to beat the sun and experience Hong Kong's best dawn first-hand while raising funds for The Nature Conservancy Hong Kong.

“Hiking is the most legendary exercise and still the best modern exercise. - you may walk alone but ten thousand people are hiking with you -inspired by Maya Angelou. You represent those that could only dream of such opportunities - GO conquer the trails of Asia holding the African Flag high!!!👏👏👏

While I was looking for something to write here, I googled 'inspirational quotes'. I found one: " Don't stop when you're tired. Stop when you're done. " Please don't. Just stop when you feel you have to. Haha. All the best, girl.

I always knew you had a loose screw somewhere up there but not as loose as this 🤣 Goodluck and all the best with your moontrekker adventure. I hope you return to me in one solid piece, as you obviously know that 30km is a lot to climb, but no worries, I'll be there cheering you on all the way. Lots of Love 😘 Nonhlanhla
