My Story

It is my 1st mountain climbing expedition and I'm thankful to have the opportunity to join a group of 20 volunteers, including me and two cancer survivors to climb Mount Kinabalu. This year marked Malaysia's 60th year of MERDEKA celebration, and we will proudly wave "Jalur Gemilang" at 4,095 above sea level on August 31. This serves as the metaphor that signifies a cancer patient’s victorious fight against cancer and a hope of triumph for those who are faced with the ongoing battle. With that, we need YOUR help and fund raised from this initiative will ensure uninterrupted supply of financial assistance, surgical equipment, liquid food supplements, prostheses, and prescribed drugs for cancer patients who are poor and at the same time provide young cancer survivors with scholarships to pursue their tertiary education. #climbforacause #klimbkinabalu2017 #fightagainstcancer
