Mother's Choice is a local charity serving the many children without families and pregnant teenagers in Hong Kong. We join hands with our community to give hope, and change the life stories of vulnerable girls and babies. We provide six services to children, youth, and families in Hong Kong, all united with the goal of seeing every child in a loving family.
Mother's Choice is dealing with an 80% increase in calls to our emergency hotline, and hundreds of children on the waitlist as we remain of the few children residential care services still admitting new cases from at-risk families under tremendous stress due to COVID-19 virus and the slowing down of government services.
The Mother's Choice gala dinner occurs in May every year and is our largest fundraising event, raising 30% of our annual operating expenses. We need your help, as the with the upsurge in concern around COVID-19, we are forced to postpone our gala dinner. With this fundraising event no longer happening this month, this will have real consequences for our cash flow and operations, and will force Mother's Choice to make difficult decisions. We need your help, so we can continue to offer critical services and a HOME to vulnerable babies and young girls who need our services now more than ever.
We do not have the financial means to wait until the gala dinner can be rescheduled to start fundraising. At last year's dinner, HK$9.5 million was raised in pledges alone and we hope to at least match the results from last year. We are aware that times are challenging for everyone now but would you consider making a financial gift to Mother's Choice now so we can avoid cutting our most critical services? Every dollar counts.

More about the Jill Carter Photography Mini Shoot Gift Certificate:
Jill Carter Photography Mini Shoot - value HK$2900
- Gift Certificate will be issued electronically via email and is valid until 1 June, 2021.
- Photo shoot will be scheduled on a Weekday or Saturday date and time to fit client availability, subject to Jill Carter availability. There are also two Sundays a month typically available.
- The 30 Minute shoot can be done at the Jill Carter Photography home studio in Pokfulam, or at any location in the Hong Kong SAR
- 25 edited high res images will be provided via a password-protected Client Gallery on www.jillcarterphotography.com (gallery will be available for 30 days once live)
- Final images provided both in colour and B&W and selected by the photographer (you will receive a total of 50 images)
- Winner can transfer the Gift Certificate to anyone, as long as the photo shoot will be done in the Hong Kong SAR
