My Story
We are from SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEBANGSAAN KAMPONG LAUT is one of the Top 10 teams in I CAN School Challenge 2019 is fundraising to represent Malaysia in I CAN Global Children Summit 2019 for our social innovation I CAN "SAY NO TO BODY SHAMING"
They felt disturbed from witnessing their friends being body-shamed by others. Believing in the power of the majority, the team decided to run a unity campaign to fight against body shaming. They conducted talk at several schools, raised awareness at nearby villages and with the public through social media and a blog.They had sent a clear message that Body Shaming is Bullying' and need to be stopped.
