Jolanta Kam is fundraising for Child's Dream Foundation

I run marathon in Greenland and raise money for a cause close to my heart, kids. Please support and donate to reduce childhood mortality and long-term disability.

My Story

After my nearly 20 years marathon experience (Tokyo, Berlin, Zurich, Munich, London (virtual) etc.) I have decided to take a step further and run my first  “lightly extreme”  Icefjord Midnight Marathon in Greenland on the 28th of May. It will be a new experience running during the night (the nights in May are light) and not get an injury being flashed by the breathtaking views on the largest island in the world. During my quite tough training an idea to run a charity came along and I could not stop thinking about it and asked myself why not to do something good during the marathon preparations.
Last year I met 2 wonderful individuals, who gave up their luxurious lives as bankers in Switzerland 20 years ago to start a Foundation called Child’s Dream and to dedicate their lives for Kids in Laos, Burma and Cambodia.

One of the project, they are working on is to reduce childhood mortality and long-term disability. I want to challenge myself in Greenland to give the children a bit of sunlight and hope and I would be happy if you could support Child’s Dream with a financial contribution.
