Since school year 2020-2021 is about to start this August. Most of the students specially those in public schools could not comply on the transition to online classes. I know a few who were not able to enroll because they don't have ipads and access to the internet. The numbers of children who can't come to school could lessen if we all become a Hero. Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 and the enhanced community quarantine. Save the Children remains committed to respond to the needs of vulnerable children and their families.
Since March, Save the Children has distributed over 3,000 hygiene kits covering more than 13,000 individuals, 21 portable, child-friendly hand washing facilities benefiting more than 50,000 people; as well as meals, food baskets, PPEs, and medical equipment to communities
in Metro Manila, Cavite, Rizal, strategic points in Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao, and Misamis Oriental.
