Celebrated on 21 March annually, World Down Syndrome Day is a global event to raise awareness and exemplify the abilities of persons with Down syndrome while advocating equal rights for them.
21-3 is a unique set of numbers as it signifies the genetic condition of persons with Down syndrome presence of the third copy of chromosome 21.
This year's global theme, With Us not For Us, echoes DSA's effort for the last 26 years. DSA works toward building an inclusive community through raising awareness and showcasing the abilities of persons with Down syndrome while advocating equal rights for them. With the community becoming more receptive and accepting of persons with Down syndrome, our beneficiaries are greatly inspired in developing their skill-sets and independence to achieve their maximum potential to lead a more fulfilling life.
We hope to raise funds to sustain our programmes and services for our beneficiaries in 2023 and would like to seek your help to do so.
Every cent counts. Your gift will impact another's life.
Thank you.
