The Singapore Red Cross urgently NEEDS your HELP to raise S$1 million by the end of 2015 in order to ensure our local humanitarian services may continue serving the most vulnerable in Singapore.
Services that are affected:
- Red Cross Home for the Disabled (RCHD) - helps our residents like Yin Leng, who cannot move and has serious spinal problems get a proper quality of life. Our Home also provides long-term residential, respite and day care services for children and adults with both severe multiple physical and mental disabilities.
- TransportAid - helps the elderly and the disabled from low-income homes get to and from their vital medical treatments, rehabilitation and day care centres.
Prove you care Now:
- FoodAid - provides monthly rations of nutritious food to Grandpa Rahim and Grandma Asmah as well as the 7 grandchildren whom they take care of. With the grandchildren’s parents in prison, it is a daily struggle for them to provide even basic necessities.
- Make a Vital Donation
$20 is enough to buy 1 week of diapers for a resident of RCHD
$25 is enough to help 1 beneficiary get to and from vital medical treatment via TransportAId
$250 is enough to feed a family of four for one month
$500 can buy 3 months’ worth of meal replacements for a resident of RCHD
