About Event

We have been a recipient of the Peace Gifts Project for four years now, and almost all of my children who studied in Hadji Salik ES ( Tukanalipao, Maguindanao) have been receiving supplies every year. It’s a big help to us because with the money we use to buy school supplies, we were able to buy food for our table. We are always excited whenever TPBPM is here because aside from the school supplies, you also bring joy to the lives of our kids. Shukran (Thank you) to everyone who is supporting this mission” according to a parent from HSKES.

Greetings of Peace!

June is just around the corner! Children are going back to school, and they will need bags, paper, pens, pencils, crayons, and other school supplies.

But not all children are lucky enough to have access to school supplies especially those from Maguindanao. Some of them decide not to go to school at all because of the challenging situation in their province. Recalling our conversation with a Maguindanaoan child, she shared with us that she would instead work on a farm than go to a school. “Education can wait,” she said.

Their situation is indeed heartbreaking, but we can do something. With your help, we can inspire and encourage these children to go to school and still pursue their dreams. With a willing heart, give us a hand in buying school supplies for the children in Maguindanao and Marawi.

Let us share our love through the Teach Peace Build Peace Movement’s Peace Gifts Project as we reach our goal of 5000 school packs for the learners of Marawi and Maguindanao.

Each School Pack Costs PHP 300/ $ 6.00 with the following content: 1 drawstring bag, 6pcs notebook, 5pcs pencil/ ballpen 1 box crayon, 1 pair of scissors, 1 sharpener, 1 eraser, 2 pads of paper.

Help us reach this goal and together let us Build a Culture of Peace through Education.
