We are pleased to inform that our association will be organizing our first Dive and Dine Fundraiser with the collaboration of Sail Malaysia, Marine Research Foundation and Pillars of Sabah. The funds raised will be used to continue phase 1 of Project Picasso at Kampung Lobong, Gaya Island which includes segregation at source, eliminating rubbish from the island and recycling while creating a circular economy through the purchase of a special machine and provide seed funding for the first 3 months for the villagers while they create a self sustainable circular economy. Project Picasso aims to convert the village into an eco tourism spot, the first of its kind in Kota Kinabalu. We are excited to be partnering with Pillars of Sabah for the auction and highlight of the evening showcasing our very own Sabahan talent.
Donors will have the following options to donate:
1. Join the Dive clean up on 15 July in the morning
2. Partake in the online bidding for artwork produced by the villagers
3. Attend the fundraising dinner (and partake in the auction bidding to support both our cause and the local talents)
4. Donate online here or offline
5. Be a corporate sponsor
