Klimb Kinabalu – Fight Against Cancer 2023

Klimb Kinabalu is back after a 3-year hiatus! Klimb Kinabalu is MAKNA’s annual climb that opportune public to climb Malaysia’s highest peak, raise funds and spread awareness on cancer. Klimb Kinabalu 2023 is MAKNA’s 8th climb since 2012. Climbing the mountain symbolises the pain and challenges undergone by cancer patients; and to reach its summit depicts how they bravely overcome the ordeal – however, the climb is no comparison to the years-long battle with cancer faced by cancer patients.

With this being the spirit behind the climb, this year, 20 climbers will embark the climbing expedition. The 20 climbers team includes cancer survivors and volunteers. Cancer fighters only want one thing, to win the battle. We are trying to raise funds to help poor cancer patients in their treatment process. The funds will significantly help poor cancer patients and their families cope with their living expenses while undergoing treatment.

The climb is scheduled from 6 – 8 May 2023. Leading to the campaign, the climbers are geared to raise funds to help poor cancer patients. The climb is self-funded by climbers. All funds raised will directly aid poor cancer patients. We would like to appeal to your generosity in making “a small donation”. We can’t thank you more for your generosity.
